Pawleys Island Homes

Pawleys Island, South Carolina, is 25 miles south of Myrtle Beach and 70 miles north of Charleston. It is located in Georgetown County and between Ocean Highway and the Waccamaw River. It is known as one of the oldest summer resorts and is on the southern end of the Grand Strand. Pawleys Island is connected to the mainland by two bridges, the North Causeway and the South Causeway.

There are many activities to do in Pawleys Island such as fishing, boating, sailing, golfing, historic tours, nature walks, shopping and so much more. Pawleys Island has world famous golf courses, fresh market commons, and many restaurants and hotels. The public schools include Waccamaw High School, Middle School and Elementary. There are also several private schools in the area.

Pawleys Island has several communities in Litchfield Beach and Pawleys Plantation that are on the higher end of the scale for the area. Real estate in this area is growing and there are many homes along the Grand Strand in Pawleys Island.
